Raven ("we", "us", or "our") is a personal diary app that uses AI to help you reflect on your life. We take your privacy seriously - your diary is yours.

When you use AI features, relevant portions of your diary entries are sent to one of the following providers to generate a response:

These providers process data only to return a response and do not use your content for model training under their API terms.

4. Data storage and security

Your diary text and account data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway (railway.app), located in the United States. Photos and images are stored in Cloudflare R2 / Amazon S3 object storage, also in the United States. We use HTTPS for all data in transit. Vault entries are flagged as private and excluded from shared views.

5. Data retention and deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and associated app data from Settings → Delete account in the Raven app. You can also contact hello@codepulse.dev for privacy questions.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not store your payment card details. Subscription status is synced via RevenueCat (revenuecat.com) - Privacy Policy.

7. Children

Raven is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us at hello@codepulse.dev for any privacy-related requests.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
